Head Start/Early Head Start Programs
|
 |
Community Action Head Start/Early Head Start is a federally funded program with staff who are passionate about helping families and children reach developmental goals and milestones. Head Start/Early Head Start strives to provide families with the support and resources to achieve positive outcomes based on individual family needs. |
Mission Statement: Community Action Partnership Head Start/Early Head Start provides resources to enhance the lives of children and families.
Early Head Start offers services for prenatal mothers, infants, and toddlers up to 3 years of age. Our services provide families of infants and toddlers with support and resources through a parent education program, home visits, socializations, and family child care options. Early Head Start also assists expectant families in achieving healthy prenatal outcomes.
Head Start is a preschool program for children ages 3 and 4 years old. Head Start ensures a child’s readiness for kindergarten by promoting nurturing educational experiences, good physical and mental health, and the involvement of parents and families. Center Based classroom services are offered in both Dickinson and Hettinger County. Home Based services are offered in all eight counties providing educational curriculum through home visits and socializations. |
